To enroll in the Loyalty Program, a Customer representative must complete and submit the registration form available at www.vwrloyaltyca.com/register.
Registration, qualification and all benefits of and related to the Loyalty Program are offered at the discretion of VWR. By registering for the Loyalty Program and/or by using the Loyalty Program website [www.vwrloyaltyca.com], the Customer and or its representatives agrees that it has read and understands the Terms and Conditions and are bound by all of them.
The following Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions of Use shall govern the participation of all Customers (as defined below) in the VWR International Co. “Loyalty Program”. Additional terms and conditions may apply
VWR International Co. (“VWR”) offers its Loyalty Program exclusively to Canadian business-to-business customers (“Customers”). Under the Loyalty Program, Customers are eligible to earn points each time they purchase qualifying goods from VWR. Points can be redeemed for a selection of VWR Collection products, gift certificates and other merchandise available on the Loyalty Program website [www.vwrloyaltyca.com]. The Loyalty Program is active only in Canada and only Canadian Customer accounts are eligible to participate in this program; not all registrants will qualify for this program. The following additional terms and conditions apply.
The Loyalty Program is open to Canadian business-to-business customers (“Customers”) of VWR International Co. (“VWR”). Customers may only be represented by designated Customer personnel acting on behalf of a Customer (“Customer Representatives”) if they are at least eighteen (18) years old. A Customer Representative is solely acting for business purposes, in a business-to-business procurement capacity on behalf of the enrolled Customer, and not on their own behalf as an individual consumer purchasing for any personal, family, or household purpose. Only Customers with registered Customer accounts with VWR are eligible to participate in the Loyalty Program; yet not all registered Customers or Customer purchases may qualify. Multi-level customer accounts may have multiple Loyalty Program accounts; otherwise Customers are limited to one account. By enrolling in the Loyalty Program, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth herein. This promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, provincial/territorial, and local/municipal laws and regulations apply. There is no fee for Customer’s participation in the Loyalty Program.
To enroll in the Loyalty Program, a Customer must complete and submit the registration form available at www.vwrloyaltyca.com/register. The Customer’s application will be reviewed for qualification. The qualification process generally takes 3-5 business days, but may take longer in some cases. An email notification will be sent to the email address provided by the Customer in the registration form, informing the Customer about their account activation or application rejection.
By enrolling in this program, the Customer agrees to defend, release and hold harmless VWR, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, representatives, agents and employees, from any and all claims, damage, injury or loss of any kind which may arise, directly or indirectly, in connection with the Loyalty Program, use, redemption, acceptance or possession of the merchandise and/or services obtained using Loyalty Program points (Loyalty points), including, without limitation, court costs, attorneys' fees, and any expenses and damages which may be incurred by you in connection with this program.
3. Account Activity
Loyalty Program accounts which do not claim any points earned and redeem any points for rewards in any consecutive eighteen (18) months timeframe from the last activity are subject to termination and forfeiture of any points balance. For this purpose, “Activity” is defined as both claiming points and redeeming rewards. Once the account is terminated, any accrued points will be forfeited.
4. Accumulation of Points
Points are awarded on purchases made for qualifying products through VWR on or after the Customer’s Loyalty Registration Date. Qualifying purchases on individual invoices under $25,000 will be eligible for reward points. One (1) point is awarded for every twenty dollars ($20) spent on eligible products through VWR. Points are not earned for dollars spent on freight or taxes. Credits for returned or cancelled purchases through VWR will reduce the points accrued in Customer’s account. If the points which are to be deducted from Customer’s account are already used to redeem rewards, the Customer’s account will show a negative point balance.
Loyalty points awarded on orders through VWR are valid for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the product order invoice date printed on the VWR sales document. If points are not redeemed before the passage of twenty-four (24) months, the points will be deducted from the Customer’s Loyalty account point balance and cannot be reinstated.
Loyalty points will be awarded within 1-5 business days of the generation of the sales document for accounts that qualify for automatic point accumulation, or Customer submitting proof of purchase to the Loyalty Program website. To accumulate points, Loyalty Program Customers which do not qualify for automatic point accumulation, are required to enter their sales document number as proof of purchase after logging into their Loyalty Program account. Loyalty points on qualifying purchases with VWR are available to be claimed once the order is fully delivered and a sales document is provided to the Customer.
No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, mutilated, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, illegible or postage due submissions; or any computer, telephone, cable, network, satellite, electronic or Internet hardware of software malfunctions, failures, connections, availability or garbled or jumbled transmissions, or unauthorized human intervention. Any receipts found to be tampered with or altered in any way will be void and may result in Customer’s disqualification from the Loyalty Program.
VWR is not liable for any points that are not credited or are incorrectly credited to an account. Customer bears the responsibility to contact VWR to correct any errors in the account balance or otherwise. Requests for correction must be made within one year of the date of purchase. Customer Loyalty Program accounts cannot be linked to other VWR reward accounts or otherwise shared.
5. To Redeem Points
To redeem points, Customers should visit Loyalty Program website at www.vwrloyaltyca.com. A minimum of 200 points must be redeemed per reward issuance. Redeemed points will be deleted from your account and cannot be reinstated. Points cannot be transferred, sold or redeemed for cash. Points can only be redeemed by Customers for rewards intended for business-to-business purposes and are strictly not intended to be used for any individual, family, or household purpose.
VWR reserves the right to modify, terminate, or suspend any reward at any time. Rewards are subject to availability and may be limited in availability. Rewards obtained using Customer’s points will be delivered within the estimated timeframe indicated via email confirmation whenever possible, subject to change depending on factors including but not limited to shipping conditions and product availability. The Customer will be notified if the reward product Customer has ordered is not available and when it will reasonably be expected to become available. If the product is not available, the Customer may cancel redemption of the Loyalty Program points associated with that reward product or accept alternative item(s) of equal or greater value to be identified by VWR in its sole discretion. Restrictions may apply to rewards. Rewards are subject to change without notice.
Redeemed rewards are not refundable, exchangeable, replaceable, redeemable or transferable for cash, credit, or other rewards, or points under any circumstances. Only VWR Collection products may be exchanged if they are defective. The Customer is responsible for paying any taxes and shipping and handling charges associated with the reward, unless stated otherwise.
6. VWR's Rewards
Points accrued in Customer’s Loyalty Program account may be redeemed with VWR for selected VWR Collection products or any gift cards and products offered on www.vwrloyaltyca.com as part of this program. VWR does not partner with any organization for offering products for redemption. Gift cards and other products offered on the Loyalty Program website are not being sold or marketed. VWR purchases the gift cards and products and offers them as gifts in appreciation of customer loyalty, which can be redeemed using the Loyalty points. Inclusion of the rewards in the Loyalty Program is subject to change, termination or suspension at any time with or without notice. The rewards are offered to VWR Customers, not to individual(s) serving as Customer Representatives on behalf of the Customer. In compliance with this requirement of Customer’s participation, the rewards will only be shipped to Customer’s business address and not to any Customer Representative or other individual, family, or household address.
Failure to comply with the shipping terms and conditions in any manner, including but not limited to attempting to ship rewards to a personal, family, or household residential address, may result in a partial or complete suspension from activity on the Loyalty account, points being deemed ineligible, and/or deactivation and termination of Customer’s account(s) from the Loyalty Program without further notice. A Customer’s compliance with the shipping terms and conditions will be determined in VWR’s sole discretion.
a. Rewards Products
In addition to any other terms and conditions stated elsewhere, VWR will ship the product model identified in the reward description page or the most current comparable model available.
VWR will not deliver products to P.O., A.P.O. or F.P.O. boxes. Rewards will be shipped only in Canada. The reward(s) shall be shipped to Customer’s current address on file associated with Customer’s Loyalty Program account(s). The shipping address cannot be changed after the order is placed.
No returns or exchanges are permitted except for VWR brand products proven to be defective or damaged at the time the product is delivered to Customer. Damaged or defective VWR brand items must be returned within 30 days of delivery. To make a return, contact VWR to make arrangements for the return and request that the item be replaced or that your Loyalty Program account be credited. VWR brand products returned must be in their original packaging and include all original parts. Not all rewards products qualify for returns. b. Gift Certificates/Merchandise Credits
Gift certificates and merchandise credits cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances including damage or defective condition. Gift certificates and merchandise credits cannot be redeemed for cash, have no cash value, and cannot be sold, bartered or purchased. VWR is not responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed or mutilated gift certificates or merchandise credits and such certificates/credits will not be replaced.
Gift certificates and merchandise credits must be redeemed in accordance with the terms and conditions printed thereon. Other restrictions, including, but not limited to expiration and/or redemption of the certificates and credits and any combination of offers which may be printed on the certificate/credit, or acquired from the original vendor, may apply. Use of any certificate or merchandise credit is subject to the restrictions listed on the certificate or merchandise credit. Certificates and merchandise credits must be surrendered at redemption. Photocopies will not be accepted.
Gift certificates and merchandise credits are not available on previous purchases and cannot be used as payment on existing accounts balances. Any unused portion of the certificate will not be returned as cash unless otherwise stated on the certificate or merchandise credit. Certificates are void where prohibited by law. Unless otherwise stated on the certificate or merchandise credit, federal, provincial, or local taxes are not included and are Customer’s sole responsibility at the time of redemption.
c. Other Rewards Conditions
All items offered as part of the Loyalty Program are available on the Loyalty Program website [www.vwrloyaltyca.com]. The number of points necessary to obtain each item is also available on the Loyalty Program website [www.vwrloyaltyca.com] and is subject to change without notice. The points are calculated based on the dollar value of offered items as per VWR’s evaluation and costs.
VWR is not responsible for typographical errors or insufficient information in the Rewards description.
7. Contact Information:
VWR may use Customer Representative’s personal information provided in enrollment forms, including email addresses, to offer products, programs or services that it believes may be of interest to Customer participants. VWR will not use or transfer personally identifiable information collected during the enrollment process in any way other than as set forth herein. Customers can choose to opt-out of these services or to correct/change contact information by notifying VWR in writing by email at Canada_Loyalty@vwr.com.
If Customer’s contact information changes, Customer must update the records on their Loyalty Program account. VWR is not responsible for any consequences attributable to Customer’s failure to update their contact information, including Customer’s Representatives, primary address, shipping address, phone number, email accounts, or other pertinent details.
8. Forfeiture of Points/Termination of an Account
Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions of the Loyalty Program as set forth herein may result in forfeiture of points and/or suspension or termination of Customer’s Loyalty Program account. If VWR terminates a Customer’s account for any reason, all points will be forfeited and cannot be reinstated. If a Customer chooses to terminate their Loyalty Program account, the Customer may have one (1) month from the date of termination to redeem any points. All points not redeemed during that one month period shall be forfeited.
9. Modification/Termination of the Loyalty Program
VWR reserves the right to modify, add, change, terminate, or suspend the Loyalty Program in any way. By way of example only, VWR can:
VWR also reserves the right to terminate the Loyalty Program at any time, with or without notice. Notice may be provided in writing via email or mail to the contact information on record with VWR. Customer will not have the right to earn points during the notice period and VWR will be entitled to change any portion of the rewards program, including the products and other rewards available during that time. At the end of the notice period, all accumulated points will be forfeited and Customers will no longer be able to redeem points.
Any fraud or abuse related to the Loyalty Program may result in forfeiture of Customer’s accrued points and termination of Customer’s account. For questions and disputes concerning the Loyalty Program, contact VWR at Canada_Loyalty@vwr.com. Determining tax liability for any federal, provincial or local taxes related to this program or the redemption of points associated therewith is the sole responsibility of the Customer. VWR is not responsible for any typographical errors in promotional items related to this program, including the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions of the Loyalty Program may be updated at any time, with or without notice. In an event of non-compliance with any of the Terms and Conditions of Use, the Principal Investigator or the senior authority within the Customer organization will be notified and required to acknowledge the issue. Failure to comply with any Terms and Conditions of Use of the Loyalty Program in any manner may result in a partial or complete suspension from activity on the Loyalty Account or termination from the Loyalty Program.
